| We are the first band on deeprealm.com so I am sure its worth some merit, but anyway here is some band history. Moratorium started in Fall of 2005 with Josh Mercer a.k.a. Orlok on vocals, and Jon Brock a.k.a. Brox on lead guitar. The band started slowly and never really took off. Due to a lack of any member except for Orlok and Brox having any motivation at all. The band also went through some name name changes, the first name being Dryheave which came about as the result of Brox getting stoned on Delsym and getting the dryheaves afterwards, then there was the name Entropy, which means the rate at which everything in the universe decays, Finally there was Moratorium which means a halt or suspension of all activity especially government activity. So with a major struggle with finding members Moratorium did not explode as quickly as predicted. So after months of getting nothing done Orlok and Brox never lost any hope of making it in the music business. Then in June of 2006 Brox passed away tragically in a car accident. Then after six months of hiatus Orlok finally got the motivation back to re-form Moratorium and make it more brutal than ever before. So Orlok is now searching for new members, the current line-up consists of Josh Mercer a.k.a. Orlok on vocals, Brent on bass, Abby is in charge of all female vocals, Moratorium now has a new member Sam the rhythm guitarist, he may have an emo hairstyle but call him emo and watch out for an ass kicking like you have never had, this guy eats aborted fetus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Moratorium still needs members so if you want to join this juggernaut send me a message, the current openings are, keyboard/ synth player, Lead Guitarist, and Double Bass Drummer. |
