Title: New Book: The Book of Lies by Aleister Crowley
Category: content
Blog Entry: I found this book utterly fascinating. Mostly because it makes sense in a sense of reading btn the lines. I wanted to put some passages down here for the simple reason of sharing...
on pg.42 is the 'Stag Beetle'and it goes like this..."Death implies change and individuality; if thou be THAT which hath no person, which is beyond the changing, even beyond changelessness, what hast thou to do with death? The birth of individuality is ecstasy; so also is its death. In love the individuality is slain; who loves not love? Love death therefore, and long eagerly for it. Die Daily." I like that one b/c of its simple wisdom. The other one i like in this book, on pg. 70, is called "John-A-Dreams". But unlike the other i like only the begginning of this one. It goes "Dreams are imperfections of sleep; even so is consciousness the imperfection of waking...". I like this one cause it makes me think. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think:biggrin:
