Television: I don't watch a lot of it, but some shows I do like are Ghosthunters, Law & Order, CSI: Miami, Barefoot Contessa, Sex & the City, Laverne & Shirley, I Love Lucy, The Munsters, The Adams Family, Roseanne, and a couple of others that have once again slipped my mind.

Anything and everything .. I'm not that hard to please. I love being outdoors during the Summer. Sometimes I can take a book and sit outside for hours just reading. Hiking trails through the mountaineous parks of Southern Appalachia, going to local shows, promoting local bands, going to headlining concerts, spending time with my family and friends, help taking care of my aunt, babysitting my nephew, meeting new people.

Narrow-minded morons, people who get off on hearing themselves talk, racism, disrespecting other people, bad body odor, trying to change me, thinking that ice cream is bad for you, health freaks, body builders, tight pants that make guys look like girls with big asses, a cocky attitude, being a male pig, thinking that football should come between you and any event unless it's a natural disaster, anyone who voted for our current fucktard of a president.

A pretty smile, eyes that could make you stop in your tracks, intellectual conversations, talent that never ceases to amaze me, the ability to be patient with me, being able to get along with BOTH my family and friends, an animal lover, music in the same genre as me, tattoo's, piercings, pretty lips, good kissers, any nine inch nail song.

It seems as though this section is always looked upon for a glimpse into what a person is really like. My name is Amie, but most people who know me well like to call me Aim for short. I've lived in the same place all my life and even though it's a small town with nothing to do, it's still home. I have the best friends that anyone could ask for. They have literally been my rocks to keep me afloat and from sinking in this big ocean of life. I use to think that happiness was a mere illusion, but sometimes you meet someone who shows you what life is really about. I want to believe that things DO happen for a specific reason. I graduated from college, as expected, with two different degrees. Even now, I still don't know which way my life will take me. Music is my outlet and my source of freedom. It is the one thing that has stayed constant in and out of my life. I enjoy all aspects of music, whether it be playing it, singing it, or watching it at a live show. I could possibly be the nicest person that you would ever encounter. I feel as though being bitchy and having a natural attitude is a waste of time and energy. I think that you should treat people the way that you would want to be treated in return. That might sound cliche, but it's true. I love being around people who are themselves no matter what. Body modification and body art have always intrigued me and probably always will. Some may say that I have way to many holes in my face, but that's their opinion and everyone has one. I love being around my family and friends. Going to shows is always beneficial for me because not only do I love music, but I enjoy being in that atmospere and meeting new people. I love my dogs. Yes, I am one of those people who takes tons of pictures of their pets as if they were my own kids. I love my nephew Kevin Thomas. He's the sparkle in my eye and the sweetest, most intelligent, and polite two year old around. I'm completely random, but that's quite alright because that's who I am. I don't look for anyone's acceptance of me or the things that I do because I don't need it. Life is about what you make it and you are only miserable if you let yourself be. Remember to make not only each day count, but every second because you never know when something unexpected may happen.

Chinua Achebe: Things Fall Apart, Art Spiegleman: Maus - A Survivor's Story, Virignia Wolfe: Mrs. Dalloway, Joseph Conrad: Heart of Darkness. I also enjoy a wide variety of poetry. I have several collections of books of poetry by Robert Frost and Edgar Allen Poe, as well as William Blake and Alfred, Lord Tennyson. Even though my Shakespeare class about killed me last semester, I really do enjoy some of Shakespeare's work. One of my favorite is As You Like it. I also like plays such as Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and The Dollhouse.
