The Sons of Heaven
DATE: Jan 27, 2008
=====================================
Those whom heaven helps we call the sons of heaven. They do not learn this by learning, They do not work it by working, They do not reason it by using reason.
To let understanding stop at what cannot be understood is a high attainment. Those who cannot do it will be destroyed on the lathe of heaven.

Beauty in a Wicked World.
DATE: Mar 5, 2008
=====================================
Did you believe it, when they told you they discovered you? And that everything is free, as long as you do what they tell you to. You think it's true?
Did you even listen, when they told you to change your name? And that nobody wants honesty when looking at a perfect frame. Play the game.
Nothing could be further from the truth, And nothing is more powerful than beauty in a wicked world.

Now, I Am Become Death, Destroyer of Worlds

Now, I Am Become Death, Destroyer of Worlds
Shiva was ‘he who takes back or takes away’. In appearance Shiva is fair, has four arms, four faces, and three eyes. The third eye, situated in the centre of his forehead, possesses a fiery glance from which all created things shrink. The destructive aspect, too, is clear in the title of Bhairava, ‘the joyous devourer’. In this guise Shiva haunts cemeteries and places of cremation, wearing serpents round his head and skulls for a necklace, attended by hosts of demons and imps.
The name of Shiva is unknown in the ancient scriptures, but Rudra, ‘the Howler or Roarer, the Terrible One’, another name for this deity, and almost equally common, occurs frequently. Early in the evolution of the Hindu triad Shiva absorbed the Vedic Rudra, a personification of the implacable powers of destruction.

Visions of the Emerald Beyond
No more am I the foolish customer Of a dry, sterile, intellectual breeze. I shall buy only The weaving visions of the emerald-Beyond. My heart-tapestry Shall capture the Himalayan Smiles Of my Pilot Supreme. In the burial of my sunken mind Is the revival of my climbing heart. In the burial of my deceased mind Is the festival of my all-embracing life.

LOVE, DEVOTION, SURRENDER
DATE: May 22, 2008
===================================== LOVE, DEVOTION, SURRENDER
Love is sweet, Devotion is sweeter, Surrender is sweetest.
Our mind thinks that this is absolutely true. Our heart feels that this is undeniably true. But unfortunately in our day-to-day life we are not able to practise it.
That is to say, we do not know what love is. We do not know why we love something or someone. Finally, we do not know how to love.
What is love?
Love is self-expansion. Devotion is the intensity in love. Surrender is the fulfilment of love.
To serve and never be tired is love. To learn and never be filled is devotion. To offer and never to end is surrender.
Love is man's reality. Devotion is man's divinity. Surrender is man's immortality.
Reality is all-pervading. Divinity is all-elevating. Immortality is all-fulfilling.
Why do we love?
We love because at every moment we are pinched with hunger and wish to be completely fulfilled.
Traditional Western Views:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
St. Augustine has blessed us with a profound message: "Love and then do what you like."
St. Francis, has offered a unique truth to the world at large: "He who thinks that God's Love is inadequate is very greedy."
George Bernard Shaw has warned us: "Beware of the man whose God is in the skies."
Traditional Eastern Views:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
India's greatest poet, Rabindranath Tagore, said, "He who loves finds the door open."
Love is sweet. I have felt this truth in my mother's spontaneous love for me.
Devotion is sweeter. I have discovered this truth in my mother's pure devotion towards the perfection of my life.
Surrender is sweetest. I have realised this truth in my mother's constant surrender towards the fulfilment of my joy.
Love is mighty. This truth I feel when I look at my father's face.
Devotion is mightier. This truth I discover when I sit at my father's feet.
Surrender is mightiest. This truth I realise when I live in the breath of my father's will.
