Betrothal
Dread daughter of chaos, no physical flaws--- Appearing deceptively docile, sharpening ebony claws. Luxurious preparation, bathing in young-maidens' blood--- Stretching supernatural sinew, rejoicing in the flood... Of despicable emotions, accompanying odors as well--- Infernal mission paramount, engraved invitation to hell. Deceiving humanity, true image never displayed--- Carefully choosing her raiment, for tonight's masquerade.
Plans nearing fruition, letting her mind rush ahead--- Ceremony this evening, celebrating the soon-to-be dead. Monstrous teeth peeking, through succulent lips--- Debauched images overwhelm her, as her disguise briefly slips. Deep carnal moaning, down low in her throat--- This corpse-bride is anxious, chance of escape is remote. Foolish priest murmurs, beloved standing beside her--- Later stealing his soul, as he thrusts desperately inside her.
Abandoning her musings, regaining total composure--- Musn't allow her excitement, to result in exposure. Impatiently waiting, for her bride's entourage--- Planning to wear her groom's heart, as a bloody corsage.

So many nights we've lain together, Thinking we were friends forever... Now such thoughts are in the past... I guess nothing good is meant to last.
In your arrogance you believe, Implausable logic which you conceive... To justify your manipulation, Demanding another's...capitulation.
The string of souls you leave behind, The one's you use...ones you think are blind... Were only dazzled by your double-talk, They simply lacked the will to walk..........

Is that disdain that you are feeling, For those souls from whom you're stealing? Are you so busy running away, Do your indiscretions forbid your stay?
Perhaps your anger is reserved, For those who treat you as you deserve? Remeber you reap that which you sow, You shouldn't trifle with those who know.......

Through the mysts of legend peeking... Diana's little sister seeking... Power cradled in her keeping... She soothes her sister's quiet weeping. Young spirit with the ancient soul... Perhaps not ready for such a role... Aware of desperate arcane goals... More aware of the power, she controls.
Ahhhh, she strays in youthful vigor... Always seeking something bigger... Than what is needed to insure... That earth-wounds will not long endure. In her sweet naive delusion... She embraces cruel illusions... Her tender quest seems never-ending... Sister's advice, feels condescending.
If she founders in this endeavor... Old gods must leave this plane forever... Misled by shallow human lies... Little sister screams as Diana dies. Mournful wailing now is heard... Wise ones aware of what occured.... Thunder echoes their desperation... These ancient gods, denied salvation.
Roles somehow are now reversed... Marking mankinds' cheap acendence... Ancestral gods are cast aside... Mans' strutting ego abhors dependence.
