	Hehehehehehe It wud seem ya need to be careful who you try to help ... and take into yer home !!! This is one that was in the works for a couple months, but finally finished it Hope you enjoy! MISFORTUNE Something awful about her eyes, cold gaze says she'd kill me... Hungry stare of the soul inside, as if cold wind did chill me. I hear her screaming frantically, but still I finish with the knife... I deftly sew her lips together, to bring sweet silence to my life. Upstairs in my room now, sure that the child won't shout... Won't interrupt my sleep again, sure that she can't get out. My sleep has been un-easy, ever since I took her in... Poor waif she seemed that fateful day, so lost and dreadfully thin. Slipping on my lounging jacket, turning towards the stair... My nervous eyes deceiving me, for there upon the chair... I seem to see the daemon child, she and that awful glare... Twas but a trick of fading light, no creature really there Still rubbing my offending eyes, pausing at my liquor table... I know that I should try to eat, perhaps later if I'm able. I pour dark wine into my glass, hand shaking with my fear... What is that dreadful keening sound, that familiar sound I hear? Must be the neighbors I decide, that couple and their child... They have amply demonstrated, that family games get wild. It's best to curb more subtle thought, I mumble as I drink... Shocked at my own imaginings, so damn difficult to think! Another glass to soothe my nerves, yes that is what's required... A glass that I might fall asleep, this mortal shell is tired. Sweet opiate this time I think, will surely do the trick... Absinthe, it will ease my slumber, will dull my senses quick! Sometime later in the darkness, startled into waking... What was it that awakened me, set my body quaking? I sense a greater darkness, something invades my room... I fear that my precautions, will not forestall my doom. Why did I not destroy the child, was it courage that I lacked? Why only seek to limit her, did pity cause me to react... With misplaced thoughts of parenting, dreams that she could be saved? Such thoughts now seem ridiculous, would she consent to be enslaved? Too late now for sad reflection, I feel her claws upon my arm... Moonlight peeking through the curtain, I see that she intends me harm. She has ripped my careful stitches, shredded tissue once her lips... Now hangs lifeless cold and bleeding, her mouth now a cruel ellipse. Green fire dances in her eyes, I see awful mirth reflected... I understand it was a game, I only did what she expected. I turn away no longer sane, I can't endure her features..... I feel her rip my throat away, the way of these foul creatures. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Young girl huddled in the doorway...such a lonely sight... 	Well....many of you have asked me, "When are you going to return to your dark poetry, Dave?" It looks like that old dark side reared its ugly head yet again. In celebration of the dark-side, my friends.....I give you "Consequences". I hope you enjoy reading it even half as much as I enjoyed writing it!! Consequences Mind screaming, heart racing...wondering what the fuck I'm facing. Breathing ragged, soul dying...I hear heaven's angels crying. Watching as the lamb of god, is murdered on the altar... Awful madness running wild, disemboweling those who falter. Never have my eyes beheld, nor thought such monstrous evil dwelled... Upon this mortal plane we share, our blood for gods who never cared. Adramelech makes his way, into this sacred gathering place... Accompanied by a shreiking legion, souls who looked upon his face. I watch a smile cross his features, watch him summon more foul creatures. From the bowels of hell they issue, to feed upon sweet mortal tissue. Moist cloying stench of manflesh innards, heaps of midden on the floor... My nostrils weeping putrid mucous, His summoned creatures howl for more. I wonder now what fevered thinking, what made me bring this nightmare slinking... Up from the depths of my despair, to do my bidding here and there? Lust for power caused these actions, too late now to close the door... Selfish motive behind my madness, doesn't matter anymore. Harken all you kindred souls, nursing all your foul ambitions... 	Awakening Turquoise and blue pollen, carefully set within her basket... Sacred river pollen woven, inside her crystal bracelet. Yellow pollen from the corn, in celebration of her purity... Such power in her actions, such things will bring maturity. Coyote child is what she wishes, to bear into our world... For now her spirit ventures forth, into the netherworld. Concentration mars perfection, of her gentle facial features... Striving to obtain reward, to wrest his seed from nightmare creatures. Un-erring love directs her movements, praying silently to the Mother... Ignoring taunts cruelly thrown at her, by Coyote's evil younger brother. Moisture beads upon her brow, Coyote's soul she catches hold of... Absorbing his seed within herself, honoring ancient tenets of the old love. Relaxing now, she does not regret, the steps that she has taken... 	I am sorry I have been so long in posting...My baaaad. Here is a lil summn I hope you will enjoy! Thirst I strive to find some ray of hope, some anchor I can cling to… Once-before you were this way, foul madness was upon you. Such venom once unknown to me, your shrieking spirit now set free… To fill the void inside of you, where our love is supposed to be! Tell me now my darling… Tell me your sweet lies… That I may face tomorrow… That I may not despise. Empty words they stain your lips, hoarding anger against the time... Of destinies blood harvest, craving forbidden daemon's wine. Spitting curses your rage increases, awful thirst goes unfulfilled... My own dark thoughts keep straying, poignant thoughts of those I've killed. Tell me now my darling… Tell me what to give… That I may seek salvation… That I still try to live. I feel your bloodshot eyes upon me, a thousand restless flies… Feeding on these tender embraces, I would trade you for your lies. I beg of you to now depart, please go and feed upon the masses. Embrace your nature shamelessly, thin out the bleating social classes! A gift it was I thought to share... with you my tender lover… Seems as if that hope is lost... 	Resurrection Lost in my bitter chanting vigil, desperate for your sweet embrace... I watch uncaring shadows dance, across your lifeless face. I wonder...is it possible, could this be a cruel charade? I find myself entreating you, to drop this awful masquerade. Will I end up losing you, despite my timely intervention? Somehow lose your loving touch, due to my careless in-attention? Perhaps cruel fate is taunting me; I suppose that could be true... Rejecting voices in my head, my fevered thoughts return to you. Was that a flicker of your eyelid, or only wishful thinking? Energized by sudden hope, my desperate gaze unblinking... I notice now the altered posture, of your body on the bed... Goddess please forgive me, I won’t accept that you are dead. I gather up the ritual candles, spread them round about the floor... Intoning phrases from the book, that sacred tome which I abhor. Some subtle noxious odor, suddenly invades the room… Reminding me of gallows stench, black roses when they bloom. Eyes widen in astonishment, as I realize you are softly speaking. Some sort of evil incantation, to bring about what I’ve been seeking! Scalding tears blur my vision, yet I am sure that I perceive… Alterations in your countenance, changes I can scarce believe! I watch in dreadful disbelief, your youthful beauty fading… Replaced by something sinister, I sense something foul invading. I flood my mind with memories, things that we used to do. This foul thing sitting on our bed; contains no part of you! Dark apparition beckons to me, awful golem not quite dead. Beckons me to sit beside her, offering to relieve my dread. Grisly smile distorts her mouth, exposing awful yellowed teeth. Her brittle skin it seems to move, are writhing maggots just beneath? I embrace this grotesque parody, in remembrance of you… One is such a lonely number, my happiness requires two. © April, 2008 ~DaveDoom51~ all rights reserved

	Have you ever walked by a derelict sleeping in a doorway???....I have often wondered what path led them to be in that doorway...how madness could so destroy them.......Here is one man's explanation! I hope you enjoy The Beguiled She asked a question of me, it reverberates in my head---she asked me if I’m happy, if I’d be happier when I’m dead. I find myself now thinking, of the choices I have made---pretty sure my soul is damned, surely that is better left unsaid. Dark thoughts spawn uneasiness, birthplace of my dread---perhaps I should consider, what occurs when we are dead. If only death would bring surcease, deliver me from pain---no longer seeking evil pleasures, bring me innocence once again. Such thoughts as these accompany me, tonight's journey has no ending---no solace for my tortured soul, I am trapped within this foul intending. Knowledge gained so long ago, demands that I fulfill---fell obligations to this power, seeking someone's dreams to kill. Majik surging deep inside me, causing my obscene erection---desperate to complete my task, no time now for such introspection. Sounds of gnashing teeth assail me, at my entry to the shrine---acolytes of Satan's promise, on the floor their limbs entwined. And there upon the ornate altar, writhing to the ancient chanting---nameless woman gestures to me, unsurprised I find I'm panting. Which daemon is it now constrained, within my human form---who takes this willing offering, that the world can be transformed? How many times, how many places---how many women beckoning---I can’t remember all their faces. This daemon that’s inside of me, fulfills his ritual mating---which writhing member’s dream’s fulfilled, which lusts were consummated? I think I have an answer now, to my daughter’s question---an answer now so long forgotten, a matter tied to indiscretion. Some of our youthful choices, often glibly made in haste---can grow to such proportions; they can lay our lives to waste. I implore you gentle listener, please take these words to heart...
