Passing naked in the twilight...
Path revealed by gentle soul-light.
Warm easy breeze caresses her...
She feels insistant magic stir.

In this garden of rembrance...
Ancient images proclaim...
Ages will not dim such balance...
Arcane wisdom will remain.
Lynn journeys here, not for pleasure...
Not for gold, nor worldy treasures...
Instead she's questing for revenge...
Foul actions that she would avenge.

On the morrow her soul's sister...
Meets her death beneath the blade.
Due to some malicious whispers...
By shallow friends she was betrayed.
Lynn wonders as she ventures further...
What this feeling is inside her...
As if her soul is being branded...
As if somehow it is commanded...
To writhe within her very center...
Wrench itself out of her keeping.
Tomorrow she will count the cost...
Time enough then for her weeping.
Laughter greets her late arrival...
Faerie ring assures survival...
Awful vengance worth the price...
She strikes Mother's brass-bell thrice.

Taking form as it descends.
Shape that alters destiny...
The shape required to save her friend.
At last the reckoning time arrives...
Time for this sending to alter lives.
Dark sending anxious to receive...
The final shaping before it leaves.

Dancing with the crystal flow,
Guided by ancient mother's hands...
Sharpening intending's purpose,
She learns the price success demands.

In a land not split asunder...
As in times when they were younger.
Lynn and her lover soar forever...
Worth the price of her endeavor!
