I am an aged care nurse and intending to go for my Div 2 in Nursing.
I am a person of varied tastes, interests and opinions which usually gets me in the hot spot with some people. My opinions can seem rather cruel or insensative at times (mainly to the maintstream thoughts of todays society) but thats how I work and like anyone else I have my own reasons for my thoughts.
I see this world has become too narrowminded, too collective in its thinking and way too serious. So joking about anything that is taboo or that which isnt P.C. can help lighten the subject and can possibly shock people into thinking outside of the 'square'. It definately gets people talking and in turn people usually have the chance to make their own decision/opinion and voice it to others. Bit of a ripple affect if you think about it, but thats a ramble for another day.
I am a very quiet person in real life, I usually dont have much to say or if I do it is usually just a simple statement. Im also somewhat boring... too busy trying to do my study or follow certain interests which are usually solitary ones. If you were ever to meet me then you would have to be comfortable with my complete silence. And as you could imagine... talking on the phone would be the most extremely boring thing to do unless you enjoy hearing me breathe. Even then that sounds somewhat disturbing.
I enjoy trying to do photography... I have an exhibition (small) coming up in October to help raise money for mental health week.
My photography is usually of wild life, nature and close ups of textures. I rarely take photos of people... usually because I'll most probably get irritated with them - I am no fan of the human race.
I also enjoy fucking around on the net or computer and playing RPGs (eg Morrowind... *sigh* I remember the days of Daggerfall lol - pixalated fun!), reading up on different things and drinking.
Another interest of mine is researching of the occult/pagan practices. I suppose you could label me with the term 'pagan' but that is a highly broad umbrella description as there are so many different paths/traditions. Unless you count my ideals that society would be better off if it were back in the pre-christian days of our pagan ancestors, todays society is too consumer orientated and lacks decent morals (not the 'thou shalt not swear, fuck or fart' morals)... then yes I would proudly bear that label *arrogant grin*
I am currently researching herbs and also partaking in a short 'fundemental herbology' course.
I thoroughly enjoy music of most genres. At the moment my interest seems to be into some more classical, ambient and indie sounds. Yet my favourite style of music would be with black metal... I love it and breathe for it even if I abandon that style of music from time to time. Music is an expression of the human emotions and can enhance them.. it can inspire strength, courage, empathy and it can help heal, celebrate and induce different mental states (induce trances for example).
I admire the strengths in others to be themselves and those who uphold their OWN beliefs and morals. I believe everyone is unique in their own ways and that is something I appreciate, all walks of life bring something different to the table of life so to speak. Although I will admit it's amusing watching others be like eachother, seems like a weird competition of who is 'more genuine' of the stereotype they want to fit themselves into.
Bushwalking/hiking is one of my greatest hobbies.. I cant get enough of it. It makes me feel connected to myself and the earth, life and that which created us. Although on the other spectrum would be cemetaries... I find them to be the place I am most peaceful. Most look at death as a terrible occurance in life with the loss involved and associate cemetaries as a horrible reminder. I can sympthise with this but then one should remind themselves that death is just another natural occurance in life. It is sad but also beautiful... sadly beautiful. Cemetaries ground me and remind me of death and it is the only assurance in life. I find this a peaceful thought.
Anyway if youve read this far... well I guess you have alot of times on your hands - I assume your bored as shit now lmao. But thank you none the less.
Here is one I just finished---I anxiously await your opinion!!
Song Of Moloch
At the head of forty legions, feral eyes glance all about---spreading leathery wings to cool them, listening for the sentinel’s shout. Sulphurous odor doth proclaim him, tramp of hoof and heel denote---coming of this cold pale rider, oaths erupt from every throat. Unobserved in countless ages, dwelling in the bowels of hell---restless in his cruel confinement, no one still alive to tell… Of countless brutal cruel excesses, when last he roamed at will---infernal power never greater, foul stinking destiny to fulfill.
Distant shrieking from the sentinel, heralds arrival at the wall---ancient bastion lately weakened, whispering pathetic angels’ call… Striding forward as power fills him, groaning earth protests---such creatures as are found around him, fall senseless in their distress. Grunts escape defending angels, his presence is discerned---sickened looks upon their faces, this ancient one totally unconcerned. Runes casually written upon the air, timeless barrier is shaken---rotting dead within their graves, scream allegiance to this abomination.
Blinding light it emanates, from daemon’s outstretched hand---spelling death and desolation, across this promised land. Terror chases disbelief, across angelic faces---only death and desecration, to be found in daemon’s fell embraces. Solomon’s temple in disarray, lost corner-stone now reclaimed---forbidding wall is broken asunder, remaining angels horribly maimed. Subtle change is clearly felt, Moloch demands his due---as long ago was written, he demands your very soul from you.
Michael’s ring so carefully forged, bearing heaven’s hateful seal--- Found amongst the carnage, now destroyed beneath the daemon’s heel.
When a demon named Ornias harasses a young lad (who is favorite of Solomon) by stealing half his pay and sucking out his vitality through the lad's thumb, Solomon prays in the temple and receives from the archangel Michael a ring with a seal on it which will enable him to command the demons.....
