no I have the I year warranty with the manufacturer. They have contracted geek squad as the third party to fix the problem. If they can't I will send it to Asus and they will fix it. It just takes time.

Heh.....actually about a year or so ago I wanted to join-up but I honestly had too much on my plate to begin with {online and offline}, especially with so many accounts all over the net. I cancelled many of them as I could not keep up with them; you know how it is, Elena.....but I myself am darkminded as well hence me being here to see about things, heh.....so far I have met some very kool peeps.......
